The Commander Initiative is committed to maintaining a high standard of value, quality, and service across all vendor partnerships. As part of our cooperative mission to strengthen the independent funeral industry, every vendor must demonstrate active participation, competitive pricing, and product desirability within the Commander network.
1️⃣ Product Viability & Market Positioning
Vendors are expected to offer products or services that meet current market demand and align with the professional standards of the funeral care industry. Products that are consistently priced above market value or fail to generate interest among members may impact the vendor’s visibility and placement within the network.
2️⃣ Active Engagement Requirement
Vendor success depends on consistent engagement. Vendors who do not maintain regular activity—such as updating promotions, responding to inquiries, or participating in campaigns—may see reduced exposure within Commander marketing channels. Active effort is essential to maintaining strong member relationships and sustained sales performance.
3️⃣ Performance Review & Assistance
If product performance, pricing, or engagement levels become a concern, The Commander Initiative will initiate a Product Review Session. During this review, our marketing and vendor relations teams will assess product presentation, pricing structure, and promotional strategy. We will provide actionable recommendations to help reposition your offering and improve results.
4️⃣ Fair Opportunity, Not Guaranteed Results
While The Commander Initiative provides access, visibility, and marketing tools to all partners, ultimate success depends on the vendor’s participation, market alignment, and follow-through. We are committed to assisting every vendor in achieving the best possible outcome — but marketplace response and member preference will determine final performance.
5️⃣ Mutual Accountability
The Commander Initiative reserves the right to adjust, suspend, or modify vendor listings and promotional placements if product relevance, pricing, or engagement fails to meet network standards. Our goal is to ensure that every member and vendor benefits from a cooperative system rooted in quality, trust, and mutual success.
In short:
We can open the doors, but you must walk through them.
Commander will assist with product review, pricing feedback, and positioning strategies to give you the best opportunity for success — but effort, quality, and engagement remain the responsibility of each vendor partner.
